The Rooster is one of the best kept secrets in Los Angeles. It is the latest in a list of incredible successes from legendary Chef, and the inventor of California cuisine, Bruce Marder. Bruce is famous for being one of the pioneers to steer the direction of what is now ‘California cuisine’. His Italian restaurant Capo, located on Ocean Avenue, has year after year received some of the greatest accolades in the culinary world, including the Wine Spectator Grand Award 4 years running. 

The Rooster represents decades of mastered menu design, purist flavor combinations, and true Californian cuisine. Each and every ingredient is carefully selected and sourced locally, or grown from Head Chef Bruce Marder’s private garden. The consideration that goes into the preparation is just as thorough.

Its modern and sleek restaurant design, modeled in late 2018, is also a feast for the eyes. Standing pride of place in the dining room is a floor to ceiling state of the art glass wine room hosting some of the world’s rarest wines.
